EPNW0603TN Carbide Shoulder Milling Insert

90° positive-rake shoulder milling insert, 6 mm cutting edge length, 3.5 mm thickness and 0.8 mm corner radius (TN geometry). Engineered for semi-finishing to light roughing, ramping and 90° shoulder milling on CNC machining centers.

Sub-micron grain carbide substrate with multi-layer PVD coating provides balanced edge toughness and wear resistance when machining carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and nodular cast iron. The TN chipbreaker delivers smooth chip flow, reduced cutting forces and good surface finish at feeds 0.15–0.50 mm/tooth and axial depths up to 4 mm.

Compatible with standard EPNW/EPN series shoulder milling cutters. Direct drop-in replacement for common EPNW0603xx inserts. Well suited for precision shoulder milling, pocket and slot operations, contouring and light face milling where clean 90° walls and moderate metal removal rates are required.
